Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account information (name, email, role), profile data (company details or guard licence number, expiry, certifications, photos, experience), job data, messages exchanged on the platform, and standard technical logs (IP address, user agent).

2. How we use it

To operate the marketplace: authenticating users, displaying profiles, matching jobs and applications, transmitting messages, processing subscription billing, and improving the service.

3. Sharing

Profile information is visible to other relevant users (companies see applicant profiles; guards see job-posting companies). We use trusted sub-processors for hosting, payments and notifications. We do not sell personal information.

4. Retention

We retain account and job data for the life of the account and up to 7 years thereafter for legal and audit purposes. You may request deletion by contacting support@sentinellink.com.au.

5. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you may access, correct or request deletion of your personal information at any time.

6. Security

Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing. Authentication tokens are transmitted over HTTPS. Uploaded files (e.g., licence images) are stored in encrypted object storage.
